Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Casper Claes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sixto Nesto in the 14th minute of the match. Sixto Nesto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Casper Claes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Sixto Nesto might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Casper Claes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sixto Nesto ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 20th minute of the match, Sixto Nesto got a very nice opportunity to score, but Casper Claes was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Isidro Navarro kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Sixto Nesto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Belgium's Casper Claes got control of the ball when Sixto Nesto tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 30th minute of the game Guillaume Bonte made a throw-in which Sander Dermaut played forward. Genaro Montez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Siebe Michiels in the 33rd minute of play. After 34 played minutes Lucio Quieto got a freekick which was hit by Filomeno Quiroga. In the 35th minute, Filomeno Quiroga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karl-Oskar Lunds short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Casper Claes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sixto Nesto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edward Vanderstraeten in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Genaro Montez saved Lucio Quieto from getting behind.

The wind increased when Sixto Ugutz made the kick off in the second half. Genaro Montez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 54th minute of play. Edward Vanderstraeten didn't have the luck on his side when he, from a short distance, got a opportunity for a shot on goal in the 54th minute. The shot missed the goal on the right side and Edward Vanderstraeten ran dejectedly back to his position. In the 63rd minute of the game, Sixto Nesto landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. When Nigel Devos fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Belgium's protests and gave Nigel Devos a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Lucio Quieto booed when Belgium was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nigel Devos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sixto Ugutz in the 66th minute of play. Genaro Montez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After some careless play in the Lucio Quieto defense, Edward Vanderstraeten kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Genaro Montez. The Lucio Quieto fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Genaro Montez should have stopped the shot. Edward Vanderstraeten recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edward Vanderstraeten could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Genaro Montez made a huge save. If Sixto Ugutz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucio Quieto made a substitution. Sun Jian Wen replaced Filomeno Quiroga. 88 minutes into the match, Lucio Quieto's goalkeeper Genaro Montez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edward Vanderstraeten. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cleto Barea in the 90th minute of play. In the 90th minute Cleto Barea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
