Štefan Plučinský took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 9th minute, Igor Jesus made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After 14 played minutes, Germany's Chris Mergenthaler shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dionisio Etxepare came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Germany reached it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Štefan Plučinský got free with Tommy Kahn in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 20 minutes into the match, Ad Astra Per Aspera's Štefan Plučinský sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy Kahn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute, Igor Jesus made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Albin Holweck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dionisio Etxepare having to interfere. In the 36th minute of the match, Igor Jesus tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tommy Kahn saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 39 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Malte Schiele. After a defensive mix-up in Ad Astra Per Aspera's zone, Albin Holweck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dionisio Etxepare came out of the goal and Albin Holweck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Albin Holweck came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Germany fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albin Holweck couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Igor Jesus was the one to do the kick off. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Oxarra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 60 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Malte Schiele. Dionisio Etxepare showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cuma Usun in the 68th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Ad Astra Per Aspera's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Sachs came free, but Dionisio Etxepare reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Germany's Willy Stieler got a free kick in the 73rd minute. The supporters of Ad Astra Per Aspera booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Janik Vogt didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was beautiful to see Ad Astra Per Aspera's Igor Jesus in action when he in the 77th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Albin Holweck hit a great ball. When Paulo Oxarra fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ad Astra Per Aspera's protests and gave Paulo Oxarra a yellow card for diving instead. After 91 played minutes Ad Astra Per Aspera got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Oxarra. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ad Astra Per Aspera fully deserved thier win.
