The supporters of Germany booed when Revolución Joao FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lopez Socarras didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Revolución Joao FC's zone, Frank Sachs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joel Ahonen came out of the goal and Frank Sachs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Osvaldo Somoza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. Joel Ahonen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Sachs in the 15th minute of the match. In the 18th match minute, Revolución Joao FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uriel Becerra to maneuver through the defense. 19 minutes into the match, Germany's Frank Sachs sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joel Ahonen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Revolución Joao FC's Joel Ahonen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Sachs in the 20th minute of play. Joel Ahonen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Sachs in the 22nd minute of the match. Joel Ahonen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albin Holweck in the 24th minute of play. The corner led to Germany's Albin Holweck getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Uriel Becerra during the 29th minute. Joel Ahonen came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Germany's Frank Sachs. But to his dismay, Frank Sachs quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Sachs got free with Joel Ahonen in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 56th minute, Frank Sachs fired away a shot that was totally unreachable for Joel Ahonen. The ball ended up just outside the left post, and Germany's manager could be seen angrily pacing the sidelines. Frank Sachs in the 56thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Joel Ahonen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 58 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Willy Stieler. Joel Ahonen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Sachs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd minute of the match Germany got a corner. Revolución Joao FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Frank Sachs ran over to the corner to take the kick. Germany's Albin Holweck was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Joel Ahonen in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With his leg Joel Ahonen managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when Germany's Frank Sachs fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to Revolución Joao FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Uriel Becerra hit a great ball. Frank Sachs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joel Ahonen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Revolución Joao FC's Joel Ahonen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Sachs in the 72nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Romão Mourato in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Patricio Jakes's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. In the 81st minute, Lopez Socarras hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joel Ahonen acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 82nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Frank Sachs. In the 86th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albin Holweck to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Romão Mourato in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 91 minutes of play Germany's Adrian Dreifuss was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Adrian Dreifuss kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Albin Holweck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Germany were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
