He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. When Witalis Tamulewicz came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Hahay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Witalis Tamulewicz couldn't finish the play. Witalis Tamulewicz might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wilson Amorim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Witalis Tamulewicz ran back to his position shaking his head. Witalis Tamulewicz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Wilson Amorim made a huge save. Witalis Tamulewicz struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Wilson Amorim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hahay. 14 minutes into the game, Witalis Tamulewicz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Wilson Amorim was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Portugal's Viriato Moura in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hahay's goalie prevented a goal. After 18 minutes, Viriato Moura made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Hahay's Espen Granerud tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Witalis Tamulewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Portugal's Wilson Amorim got control of the ball when Witalis Tamulewicz tried to sneak it across the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Hahay's goal looked a bit too open when Caetano Moreira came free, but Espen Granerud reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Hahay's Iwo Rykaczewski got a free kick in the 26th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Portugal's zone, Witalis Tamulewicz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal and Witalis Tamulewicz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Witalis Tamulewicz succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 30th playminute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viriato Moura in the 43rd minute of play forced Hahay's goalkeeper Espen Granerud to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Hahay made a substitution. Arkadiusz Walec replaced Robert Bendyk. The wind increased when Arkadiusz Walec made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Portugal's Fabricio Andrade got a free kick in the 61st minute. Espen Granerud took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viriato Moura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felipe Barreto in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Espen Granerud prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Felipe Barreto who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 65thth minute tested the skills of Espen Granerud when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. Portugal made a substitution. Felipinho Amorim replaced Felipe Barreto. Hahay made a substitution. Norbert Ciempa replaced Mariusz Olejarz. A collision led to Portugal getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Rodolfo Miranda hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Portugal's zone, Iwan Skaradoski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal and Iwan Skaradoski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A throw-in in the 89th minute of the game was made by Esteve Baristo with Esteve Baristo as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Witalis Tamulewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. The supporters of Hahay booed when Portugal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabricio Andrade didn't get a good kick on the ball. 97 minutes into the match, Hahay's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Pimentel came free, but Espen Granerud reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over Portugal could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Hahay throughout the match.
