Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Conakry FC's Jefferson Terra started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Conakry FC's goal looked a bit too open when Chris Nygaard came free, but Silvio Ortle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Chris Nygaard managed to get in a good position for a shot. Denmark's supporters rose to their feet, but Chris Nygaard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvio Ortle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 5 minutes of play, Conakry FC's Jefferson Terra made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Keld Paulsen was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Denmark's zone, Jefferson Terra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Keld Paulsen came out of the goal and Jefferson Terra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 14 minutes, Marian Czekaj mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Conakry FC and the Denmark players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Denmark booed when Conakry FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marian Czekaj didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Jefferson Terra got free in front of the goal in the 17th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Keld Paulsen was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Jefferson Terra in the 19thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Keld Paulsen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A sloppy throw-in by Olav Graversen in the 23rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Conakry FC's Mike Padgett. 25 minutes into the game, Kenn Skou threw the ball into play from the sideline. Conakry FC's Franco Crispino quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Silvio Ortle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chris Nygaard in the 27th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jefferson Terra. The supporters of Conakry FC booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mikkel Wulff didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35thth minute of the game Chris Nygaard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Conakry FC's Silvio Ortle was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gary Levine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chris Nygaard in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silvio Ortle prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 46th minute, Chris Nygaard ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Silvio Ortle was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Chris Nygaard to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Conakry FC's zone, Chris Nygaard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvio Ortle came out of the goal and Chris Nygaard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 53rd minute, Geoffrey Robillard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Silvio Ortle came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Denmark's Chris Nygaard. But to his dismay, Chris Nygaard quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fernan Pierres during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fernan Pierres kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Silvio Ortle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bertram Svenningsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. When Denmark's Chris Nygaard in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Conakry FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 63rd minute Jefferson Terra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keld Paulsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Keld Paulsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marian Czekaj, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Silvio Ortle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars Steen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Denmark getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Bertram Svenningsen hit a great ball. In the 72nd match minute, Denmark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathias Ludvigsen to maneuver through the defense. Conakry FC's Cyrus Bradley was substituted for Jefferson Terra. In the 79th minute Cyrus Bradley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keld Paulsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 82 minutes, Lars Steen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Denmark's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lars Steen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mathias Ludvigsen kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 87th minute of the game Kenn Skou made a throw-in which Bertram Svenningsen played forward. Through an outstanding action, after 88 minutes, Silvio Ortle successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 90 minutes into the match, Conakry FC's Gary Levine sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Keld Paulsen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Keld Paulsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cyrus Bradley, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Marian Czekaj got his second yellow card in the match during the 93rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Marian Czekaj hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Denmark had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
