Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gijsbert ter Kruimer started the match with the kick off. Cadu Team's Gelu Lepuș played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 3rd minute of play. In the 6th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gelu Lepuș saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Válbson Paiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 11 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Válbson Paiva. Gelu Lepuș made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 12th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustaaf Groeneveldt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gelu Lepuș breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cadu Team's Gelu Lepuș played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 16th minute of play. Gijsbert ter Kruimer scored 0-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gelu Lepuș, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Wim Wilmes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gelu Lepuș having to make a save. When Mattias Downing fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Gijsbert ter Kruimer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Gelu Lepuș tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 36 minutes, Válbson Paiva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cadu Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Válbson Paiva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half Netherlands were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hugo Alcântara to make the kick off. Válbson Paiva hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. 52 minutes into the match, Wim Wilmes notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Cadu Team's Gelu Lepuș. Gelu Lepuș was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gijsbert ter Kruimer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Gelu Lepuș showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 81st minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gustaaf Groeneveldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Gelu Lepuș made a huge save. Cadu Team's Gelu Lepuș played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 87th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, David Eikelkamp dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gelu Lepuș, 0-3. Gelu Lepuș was out of position in the 91 minute of play, and Gijsbert ter Kruimer capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gijsbert ter Kruimer really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. After a defensive mix-up in Cadu Team's zone, David Eikelkamp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gelu Lepuș came out of the goal and David Eikelkamp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
