Lars Meesters might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gunnar Lidberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lars Meesters ran back to his position shaking his head. Gunnar Lidberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 11th minute of the match. Cristo Danel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Cristo Danel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gunnar Lidberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gunnar Lidberg. Mörknäs Electric Vikings's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gijsbert ter Kruimer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cesar Domingues to make the kick off. If Lars Meesters had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wim Wilmes came free with the goalkeeper in the 55th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gunnar Lidberg could save by the left post. In the 78th match minute, Mörknäs Electric Vikings was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fredrik Ryberg to maneuver through the defense. If Wim Wilmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. Mörknäs Electric Vikings's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Netherlands's corner Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gunnar Lidberg quite easily take care of the ball. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sverker Lundqvist in the 84th minute of the match. When Mörknäs Electric Vikings's Sverker Lundqvist in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The Mörknäs Electric Vikings players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
