Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) SANTOS F.C's Manfredo Bueno started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Hungary's Antal Valentin got a free kick in the 10th minute. Fodor Daniel made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Manfredo Bueno sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Hungary's Fodor Daniel got control of the ball when Manfredo Bueno tried to sneak it across the goal line. SANTOS F.C's Nicholas Latifi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 14th minute of play. Nicholas Latifi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 21st minute of the match. Nicholas Latifi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antal Valentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 27 minutes into the match, Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Douglas Basso. 31 minutes into the match, SANTOS F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but Nicholas Latifi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to SANTOS F.C getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Durvalino Guerra hit a great ball. In the 37th minute SANTOS F.C were awarded a corner. Manfredo Bueno went to the cornerflag to take it. When Paulo Cruz came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the SANTOS F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Cruz couldn't finish the play. In the 40th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicholas Latifi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Antal Valentin made the kick off in the second half. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Douglas Basso in the 54th minute of play. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 60 in the game by Balazs Lajos from a close distance when the talented Nicholas Latifi managed to make a qualified save. SANTOS F.C's players were relieved. 62 minutes into the match, SANTOS F.C's goalkeeper Nicholas Latifi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Major Barna. Takacs Tibor's late challenge caught a SANTOS F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Takacs Tibor helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Hungary getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Takacs Tibor hit a great ball. In the 68th minute, Rômulo Machado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69th minute, SANTOS F.C's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Antal Valentin fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Nicholas Latifi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Major Barna went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manfredo Bueno in the 75th minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Hungary's Major Barna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nicholas Latifi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Antal Valentin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Nicholas Latifi made a huge save. 80 minutes into the game, Antal Valentin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nicholas Latifi. Antal Valentin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Manfredo Bueno made a great header on SANTOS F.C's corner, it was just that Hungary's Fodor Daniel managed to reach the ball for a save. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Douglas Basso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Major Barna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicholas Latifi having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manfredo Bueno in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fodor Daniel saved Hungary from getting behind. When Antal Valentin came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antal Valentin couldn't finish the play. Hungary played a much better game than SANTOS F.C and deserved their victory. The SANTOS F.C players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
