In the 7th minute of the match Rafael Riedl shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Krisztián Sydbøge showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 김 호 got a throw-in 11 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Ede Edelényi. The tension between the Nimród Vére and the Austria players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Austria booed when Nimród Vére was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Róbert Vadas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Krisztián Sydbøge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sandro Galishoff, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabio Schneider received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Krisztián Sydbøge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tivadar Sörös could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Fabio Auer made a huge save. A collision led to Austria getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Marvin Harrer hit a great ball. Estevan Schaub recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Fabio Auer managed to avoid a goal in the 32ndth minute, when Nimród Vére's Tivadar Sörös fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 36th match minute, Austria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Seidler to maneuver through the defense. 38 minutes into the match, Austria's goal looked a bit too open when Tivadar Sörös came free, but Fabio Auer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 44 minutes, Sandro Galishoff managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Austria's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sandro Galishoff was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tivadar Sörös to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Tivadar Sörös shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Auer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Austria booed when Nimród Vére was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ede Edelényi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabio Auer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tivadar Sörös, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 70th minute, Christian Wallner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabio Auer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tivadar Sörös went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sandro Galishoff got free with Krisztián Sydbøge in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Estevan Schaub charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Estevan Schaub the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Nimród Vére getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Estevan Schaub hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Nimród Vére had won after a very even match.
