To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 14th minute, Linus Schwerner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15th minute, Germany's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Baransel Tezveren fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Frasco Morales didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Albin Holweck went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Baransel Tezveren's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tommy Kahn firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind ФК Цомбомания's goalkeeper Frasco Morales, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shane Nottingham, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Baransel Tezveren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baransel Tezveren in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of ФК Цомбомания booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chris Mergenthaler didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 40 played minutes ФК Цомбомания got a freekick which was hit by Baransel Tezveren. Frasco Morales showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After having played for 46 minutes, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Germany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Sachs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Shane Nottingham received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

67 minutes into the game, Baransel Tezveren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Frank Sachs's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 76thth minute, Frasco Morales skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 79 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Baransel Tezveren came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Linus Schwerner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Frasco Morales tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baransel Tezveren in the 90th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baransel Tezveren in the 90th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
