Janik Vogt's late challenge caught a FC Mercier-Est's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Janik Vogt helped the player get up and apologised. Janik Vogt kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After 19 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Albin Holweck. 20 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jayson Ham. Frank Sachs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Medeleanu having to interfere. Thommy Vuerinx who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Tommy Kahn when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Manuel Medeleanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Sachs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thommy Vuerinx in the 30th minute of play. Ludomil Trzaskoma's late challenge caught a Germany's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ludomil Trzaskoma helped the player get up and apologised. In the 31st minute, one of FC Mercier-Est:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Mercier-Est. In the 33rd minute there was a penalty for Germany. Frank Sachs stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Manuel Medeleanu. 1-1. In the 40th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albin Holweck to maneuver through the defense. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thommy Vuerinx in the 43rd minute of play. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignace Bailey in the 45th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Ignace Bailey made the kick off in the second half. Thommy Vuerinx took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thommy Vuerinx, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thommy Vuerinx in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th minute of the match, Albin Holweck tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Manuel Medeleanu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 67th minute, Germany's Frank Sachs dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignace Bailey in the 78th minute of play. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Germany's Adrian Dreifuss got a free kick in the 89th minute. A collision led to FC Mercier-Est getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Laurențiu Costandache hit a great ball. Germany's Janik Vogt got his second yellow card of the match in the 94th minute. The referee ordered Janik Vogt off the ground. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
