Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Frank Peletier started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, France's Maxime Durand got control of the ball when Abelardo de Godoi tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Abelardo de Godoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 7 minutes into the match, Camille Baume notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of GAÚCHO FC's Lenílson de Medeiros. Lenílson de Medeiros was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Abelardo de Godoi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Maxime Durand made a huge save. Robert Chapuis hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute, Frank Peletier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abelardo de Godoi struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Maxime Durand didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GAÚCHO FC. A collision led to GAÚCHO FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Charles Tande hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Barbier in the 23rd minute of play forced GAÚCHO FC's goalkeeper Lenílson de Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the match, GAÚCHO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Peletier came free, but Lenílson de Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute Abelardo de Godoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maxime Durand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, GAÚCHO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Camille Baume came free, but Lenílson de Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lenílson de Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Peletier, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Abelardo de Godoi in the 34thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Maxime Durand, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 42 minutes into the game, Abelardo de Godoi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GAÚCHO FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave France the free kick. In the 46th minute Frank Peletier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lenílson de Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abelardo de Godoi made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abelardo de Godoi in the 53rd minute of play forced France's goalkeeper Maxime Durand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54th match minute, France was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexis Bruneau to maneuver through the defense. 60 minutes into the game, one of France:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. France:s Maxime Durand showed great skill when he stopped Diamantino Costa:s penalty. The corner led GAÚCHO FC's Diamantino Costa to fire away a dangerous shot which Maxime Durand despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a rather tough play, France's Quentin Beaux got a free kick in the 66th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diamantino Costa in the 67th minute of play forced France's goalkeeper Maxime Durand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, GAÚCHO FC's Lenílson de Medeiros got control of the ball when Frank Peletier tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 80th minute, France's Camille Baume ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lenílson de Medeiros. Lenílson de Medeiros yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind GAÚCHO FC's goalkeeper Lenílson de Medeiros, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the GAÚCHO FC defense, Camille Baume kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lenílson de Medeiros. The GAÚCHO FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lenílson de Medeiros should have stopped the shot. Frank Peletier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Lenílson de Medeiros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Charles Tande hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lenílson de Medeiros made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Frank Peletier sent off a good shot on target. France's Frank Peletier got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded France left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than GAÚCHO FC.
