Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frank Sachs ran back to his position shaking his head. Gilberto Illart kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Jonatan Vennerkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Sachs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tommy Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ildefonso Richie in the 14th minute. Iker Llorienzo charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iker Llorienzo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 14 played minutes Temperley got a freekick which was hit by Iker Llorienzo. Jonatan Vennerkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albin Holweck in the 18th minute of the match. In the 23rd match minute, Temperley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando Silvino to maneuver through the defense. The throw-in from Orlando Silvino in the 25th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Germany's Janik Vogt. 28 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Godfredo Sugoi. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Willy Stieler hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Kaapo Mastropiero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Temperley getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Edelmiro Fe hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Gilberto Illart made the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Sven Krakouer. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Sachs got free with Jonatan Vennerkvist in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Temperley's Fulgencio Kaiet was substituted for Godfredo Sugoi. With a little luck, Temperley's Jonatan Vennerkvist got control of the ball when Frank Sachs tried to sneak it across the goal line. Frank Sachs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonatan Vennerkvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Temperley's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Sachs came free, but Jonatan Vennerkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frank Sachs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonatan Vennerkvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frank Sachs in the 78th minute. A collision led to Temperley getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Orlando Silvino hit a great ball. Temperley's Jonatan Vennerkvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Temperley from getting a goal against them. In the 86th minute Albin Holweck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonatan Vennerkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
