England's Khalid Kennedy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save England from getting a goal against them. Börje Frisk charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Börje Frisk the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Börje Frisk kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. When Kyle Cox came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the England fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kyle Cox couldn't finish the play. 12 minutes into the match, MAFFIAN's goal looked a bit too open when Xavier Gallagher came free, but Aron Dahlbom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kyle Cox received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Aron Dahlbom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15th minute Greger Broberg suffered a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. After 15 minutes, Issac Dawson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the England and the MAFFIAN players grew even worse after the yellow card. MAFFIAN made a substitution. Kristoffer Nyberg replaced Greger Broberg. After 16 played minutes England got a freekick which was hit by Issac Dawson. With a little luck, England's Khalid Kennedy got control of the ball when Vincent Linberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Micah Macdonald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Aron Dahlbom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kyle Cox in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 25th minute of the game Alex Vallin made a throw-in which Alex Vallin played forward. Micah Macdonald scored 1-1 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aron Dahlbom, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Khalid Kennedy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Vallin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of England booed when MAFFIAN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alf Säfström didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Kyle Cox managed to get in a good position for a shot. England's supporters rose to their feet, but Kyle Cox was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aron Dahlbom breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 41st match minute, MAFFIAN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrik Zachrisson to maneuver through the defense. Aron Dahlbom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Micah Macdonald in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Kyle Cox hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 45 minutes into the game, Eddie Willis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. England's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MAFFIAN the free kick. The supporters of MAFFIAN booed when England was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eddie Willis didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pete Sampras was the one to do the kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Pete Sampras who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but England's Khalid Kennedy was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kyle Cox in the 53rd minute of play forced MAFFIAN's goalkeeper Aron Dahlbom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Vallin in the 55th minute of play forced England's goalkeeper Khalid Kennedy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patrik Zachrisson hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After 57 played minutes MAFFIAN got a freekick which was hit by Patrik Zachrisson. Khalid Kennedy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mats Wilander, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Kyle Cox took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Aron Dahlbom to make any attempt to save it. 68 minutes into the match, England's goal looked a bit too open when Pete Sampras came free, but Khalid Kennedy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 70 played minutes MAFFIAN got a freekick which was hit by Alf Säfström. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Kyle Cox managed to get in a good position for a shot. England's supporters rose to their feet, but Kyle Cox was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aron Dahlbom breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 75th minute, Kyle Cox fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Issac Dawson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aron Dahlbom having to interfere. England were furious when Seth Young was red carded, 80 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 80th minute of the game. One of England:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of MAFFIAN:s goal. After 90 minutes of play, MAFFIAN's Pete Sampras made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Khalid Kennedy was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of MAFFIAN booed when England was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xavier Gallagher didn't get a good kick on the ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
