Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Pete Sampras took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pete Sampras in the 4th minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Pete Sampras fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MAFFIAN's protests and gave Pete Sampras a yellow card for diving instead. In the 6th match minute, MAFFIAN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pete Sampras to maneuver through the defense. After 13 minutes of play, MAFFIAN's Vincent Linberg made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Keld Paulsen was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 20th match minute, Denmark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kenn Skou to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Börje Frisk from long distance, 21 minutes into the match, got Keld Paulsen's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. MAFFIAN were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after Denmark's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Börje Frisk took the corner. MAFFIAN's Börje Frisk was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Keld Paulsen in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Nygaard in the 26th minute of play forced MAFFIAN's goalkeeper Aron Dahlbom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aron Dahlbom didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Chris Nygaard went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Mats Wilander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keld Paulsen having to interfere. Pete Sampras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keld Paulsen having to interfere. Aron Dahlbom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chris Nygaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After 41 played minutes Denmark got a freekick which was hit by Bertram Svenningsen. The supporters of Denmark booed when MAFFIAN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mats Wilander didn't get a good kick on the ball. MAFFIAN's Aron Dahlbom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chris Nygaard in the 44th minute of play. After 47 played minutes MAFFIAN got a freekick which was hit by Mats Wilander.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Chris Nygaard stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rasmus Kilberg hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Denmark's Lars Steen shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 54th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Aron Dahlbom but with some difficulty. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alex Vallin in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Keld Paulsen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. MAFFIAN made a substitution. Kristoffer Nyberg replaced Alf Säfström. MAFFIAN's Ragnar Törnkvist was substituted for Alex Vallin. Kristoffer Nyberg got a throw-in 62 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Pete Sampras. Mikkel Wulff fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aron Dahlbom having to interfere. If Ragnar Törnkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute of the match, Chris Nygaard tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Aron Dahlbom saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some careless play in the Denmark defense, Pete Sampras kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Keld Paulsen. The Denmark fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Keld Paulsen should have stopped the shot. Keld Paulsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pete Sampras, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 76 minutes, Aron Dahlbom successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Mats Wilander kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pete Sampras in the 82nd minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Denmark getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Kenn Skou hit a great ball. In the 84th minute of the match Börje Frisk shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Keld Paulsen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Mats Wilander hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. The MAFFIAN players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
