Oscar Mas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tommy Kahn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Oscar Mas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tommy Kahn, 3-0. Tommy Kahn was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Oscar Mas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Oscar Mas really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. When the match clock showed 45 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Oscar Mas sped through Germany's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 7-0 at half-time.

In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 71stth minute of the game Oscar Mas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Oscar Mas notched a goal, 11-0, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 77th minute, Oscar Mas made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 12-0. 82 minutes into the game, one of Germany:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty.
