The crowd rose to their feet as Balaceanu UFC's Gigel Chirculescu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Maxime Durand. That made the score 1-0 after 6 minutes of play. Iustinian Burdujan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 12 minutes, Maxime Durand successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a little luck, France's Maxime Durand got control of the ball when Gigel Chirculescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. France's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Gigel Chirculescu scored to the left of an out of position Maxime Durand, making the score, 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Iustinian Burdujan in the 51st minute of play forced France's goalkeeper Maxime Durand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 52 minutes, Gigel Chirculescu made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. France's Maxime Durand tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Gigel Chirculescu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maxime Durand read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Gigel Chirculescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maxime Durand. France's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gigel Chirculescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remy Dupuy in the 64th minute of play forced Balaceanu UFC's goalkeeper Dorin Orghidan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Balaceanu UFC's Gigel Chirculescu got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dorin Orghidan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Barbier, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 88th minute, France's Remy Dupuy dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-1. Maxime Durand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gigel Chirculescu in the 91st minute of the match. Frank Peletier came free with the goalkeeper in the 92nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dorin Orghidan could save by the left post. A throw-in in the 95th minute of the game was made by Jean Bombelles with Robert Chapuis as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The Balaceanu UFC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
