Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Evangel FC's Serginho Chulapa started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kees Mooiweer made in the 3rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by David Eikelkamp. After some careless play in the Evangel FC defense, David Eikelkamp kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zackary Sampson. The Evangel FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zackary Sampson should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 9th minute of play forced Evangel FC's goalkeeper Zackary Sampson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zackary Sampson saved Evangel FC from getting behind. In the 9th match minute, Evangel FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serginho Chulapa to maneuver through the defense. In the 11th minute, Wim Wilmes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Netherlands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Zackary Sampson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 18th minute of play. 22 minutes into the game, Serginho Chulapa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Arnout Reekers was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Wim Wilmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zackary Sampson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnout Reekers made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Serginho Chulapa sent off a good shot on target. Arnout Reekers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Serginho Chulapa in the 30th minute. Netherlands's Wim Wilmes got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 34th minute of the game Egbert Nijveldt made a throw-in which Gijsbert ter Kruimer played forward. If Wim Wilmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Evangel FC's goalkeeper Zackary Sampson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 42 minutes, Bas Tuitert mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Netherlands and the Evangel FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Johnathon Vargas kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Evangel FC's zone, Gijsbert ter Kruimer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zackary Sampson came out of the goal and Gijsbert ter Kruimer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The wind increased when Gijsbert ter Kruimer made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Meesters in the 52nd minute of play forced Evangel FC's goalkeeper Zackary Sampson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zackary Sampson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 54th minute of play. After 55 minutes of play, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zackary Sampson was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Bas Tuitert got a free kick in the 58th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Gustaaf Groeneveldt could shoot a difficult shot in the 61st minute, which Zackary Sampson however easily saved by the left post. If Lars Meesters had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Terry Lusk kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Zackary Sampson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 68 minutes into the game, Neil Whittaker was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Evangel FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Netherlands the free kick. After 68 played minutes Evangel FC got a freekick which was hit by Neil Whittaker. 79 minutes into the match, Evangel FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Zackary Sampson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 87 minutes into the game, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zackary Sampson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4.
