Switzerland's Federico Wiesendanger quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Billy Chemjor, made in the 5th minute of the game. The supporters of Switzerland booed when Object was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evans Roy didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 8 minutes, Samuele Kunz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Switzerland's supporters crossed their fingers, but Samuele Kunz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 14 minutes into the game, Billy Chemjor threw the ball into play from the sideline. Switzerland's Fridolin Neumeister quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Through an outstanding action, after 15 minutes, Hias Nüssli successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The supporters of Switzerland booed when Object was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moses Onyango didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Dan Limo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 24 minutes, Moses Ntalami managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Object's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moses Ntalami was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ismael Manyim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuele Kunz in the 35th minute of the match. Hias Nüssli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Moses Ntalami's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Dan Limo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Hias Nüssli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacinto Maurer kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Samuele Kunz to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Object's Shoto Rutto got a free kick in the 51st minute. When Samuele Kunz came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Switzerland fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Samuele Kunz couldn't finish the play. Moses Ntalami made in the 60th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Switzerland's Rodrigo von Känel. Shoto Rutto hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Samuele Kunz got free with Ismael Manyim in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hias Nüssli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moses Ntalami, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. 72 minutes into the match, Switzerland's goal looked a bit too open when Moses Ntalami came free, but Hias Nüssli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodrigo von Känel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Manyim having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Billy Chemjor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Object's supporters rose to their feet, but Billy Chemjor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hias Nüssli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
