Siebe Michiels fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victoriano Ecija having to interfere. But to his dismay, Yves Dervaux quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Victoriano Ecija showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 36th minute of the match. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edward Vanderstraeten made a kick off. In the 57th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten made a precise shot to the right of Victoriano Ecija. Cuatrodeocho's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 62ndth minute of the game Ulises Sarrate who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Belgium's Casper Claes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Edward Vanderstraeten blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Victoriano Ecija having to make a save. Victoriano Ecija showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Cuatrodeocho's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edward Vanderstraeten was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulises Sarrate in the 73rd minute of play. Yves Dervaux received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Victoriano Ecija came out and tried to block the shot, but Yves Dervaux slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 76th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Yves Dervaux kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Victoriano Ecija. That made the score 0-7 in the 82 minute of play. Cuatrodeocho's defense didn't have a chance, in the 88th minute, when Edward Vanderstraeten scored to the left of an out of position Victoriano Ecija, making the score, 0-8. In the 92nd minute, Edward Vanderstraeten ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Victoriano Ecija was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. When the final whistle sounded Belgium left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cuatrodeocho.
