Felipe Barreto was slow to take the kick. During this time Portugal's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Felipe Barreto almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Kjønstad BF's Erik Grøneng did a great save. In the 19th minute, Wang Fei Xing got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Viriato Moura was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Barreto in the 59th minute of play forced Kjønstad BF's goalkeeper Erik Grøneng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raymond Engevik in the 61st minute of play. The supporters of Portugal booed when Kjønstad BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tolga Şakib didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 65th minute Viriato Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Grøneng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erik Grøneng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viriato Moura in the 72nd minute of the match. The supporters of Kjønstad BF booed when Portugal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Bastos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wang Fei Xing scored 3-3 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wilson Amorim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Erik Grøneng was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bartolomeu Dias showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-4 in the 86 minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Kjønstad BF's Wang Fei Xing sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilson Amorim narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Portugal players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
