Keld Paulsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lech Modrzewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Keld Paulsen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristoforo Tarulli went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 65 minutes into the game, Chris Nygaard cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Witomir Beninda was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Nygaard in the 70th minute of play forced The Fighting Mongooses FC's goalkeeper Witomir Beninda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 73 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Denmark! Keld Paulsen had in the 74thth minute some difficulties stopping Cristoforo Tarulli's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After some careless play in the Denmark defense, Cristoforo Tarulli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Keld Paulsen. The Denmark fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Keld Paulsen should have stopped the shot. Cristoforo Tarulli hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Denmark's Olav Graversen slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Witomir Beninda. That made the score 2-3 after 82 minutes of play. The throw-in from Aysan Tanzer in the 85th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Denmark's Olav Graversen. The audience was convinced that Chris Nygaard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Witomir Beninda was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. When Gustaw Flis fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Fighting Mongooses FC's protests and gave Gustaw Flis a yellow card for diving instead. In the 90th minute, Gustaw Flis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chris Nygaard's late challenge caught a The Fighting Mongooses FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Chris Nygaard helped the player get up and apologised. In the 91st match minute, Denmark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chris Nygaard to maneuver through the defense.
