Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrique Magalhães in the 2nd minute of play. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henrique Magalhães in the 3rd minute of the match. A collision led to Monumento Sports getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Jorge Breckenfeld hit a great ball. After 8 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Lars Meesters. Davi Viannas short, quick shot in the 10thth minute got Arnout Reekers to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 14 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dé Gomes. In the 15th minute, Bas Tuitert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Monumento Sports's Chaman Do Bonde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 17th minute of play. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by Monumento Sports's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was slow to take the kick. During this time Netherlands's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Monumento Sports's goalie and right to Lars Meesters. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Monumento Sports's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Arnout Reekers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dé Gomes in the 22nd minute. Davi Vianna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Monumento Sports's goalkeeper Chaman Do Bonde, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 30th minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Davi Vianna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the match, Monumento Sports's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Meesters came free, but Chaman Do Bonde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Netherlands from getting a goal against them. If Wim Wilmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Davi Vianna stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Henrique Magalhães might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnout Reekers. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Henrique Magalhães ran back to his position shaking his head. Henrique Magalhães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnout Reekers having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Meesters in the 54th minute of play forced Monumento Sports's goalkeeper Chaman Do Bonde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustaaf Groeneveldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Chaman Do Bonde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chaman Do Bonde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Monumento Sports's Chaman Do Bonde proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Monumento Sports from getting a goal against them. In the 65th minute, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Gijsbert ter Kruimer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Chaman Do Bonde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zé Pedro Coelho kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henrique Magalhães, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Monumento Sports made a substitution. Dieguinho Sá replaced Dênis Fantini. Monumento Sports's Sandrinho Ramalho was substituted for Luiz Fabiano Pires. Gustaaf Groeneveldt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Chaman Do Bonde having to make a save. Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chaman Do Bonde having to interfere. Wim Wilmes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Chaman Do Bonde made a huge save. Davi Vianna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Arnout Reekers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Lucca Gol ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arnout Reekers was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After 95 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucca Gol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Netherlands's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
