In the 16th minute Kyle Cox shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Motta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xavier Gallagher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Seth Young charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Seth Young the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to England getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Seth Young hit a great ball. A long shot from Pedro Donatello in the 23rd minute of play was well struck, but Khalid Kennedy made a really good save at the right post. In the 24th minute, Xavier Gallagher hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 29 minutes into the match, Kit Kat FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kyle Cox came free, but Omar Motta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Omar Motta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kyle Cox in the 37th minute of the match. England's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Micah Macdonald in the 38th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Kit Kat FC's goalie and right to Leighton Davies. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Kit Kat FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 42nd minute, Xavier Gallagher hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Khalid Kennedy acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 43rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Pedro Donatello. The supporters of England booed when Kit Kat FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilberto Santana didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The wind increased when Kyle Cox made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute England were awarded a corner. Micah Macdonald went to the cornerflag to take it. Kit Kat FC's Gil Meireles was substituted for Alexandre Coelho. 58 minutes into the match, Kit Kat FC's goal looked a bit too open when Issac Dawson came free, but Omar Motta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. England's Khalid Kennedy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Vaz in the 60th minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, England's Kyle Cox sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Omar Motta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the England players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
