Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Denmark's Chris Nygaard started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Denmark getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Lars Steen hit a great ball. Planète Marseille's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Marcel Bourdel in the 6th minute. After taking down the ball on Planète Marseille's corner Marcel Bourdel fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Keld Paulsen quite easily take care of the ball. After 20 played minutes Planète Marseille got a freekick which was hit by Mourad Bobet. Keld Paulsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anatole Duchâtel in the 27th minute of play. Lars Steen charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lars Steen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a little luck, Denmark's Keld Paulsen got control of the ball when Redouane Loux tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Denmark's zone, Redouane Loux stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Keld Paulsen came out of the goal and Redouane Loux tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Denmark's Keld Paulsen got control of the ball when Redouane Loux tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pierre-Olivier Couronne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chris Nygaard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th match minute, Planète Marseille was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Côme Bedos to maneuver through the defense. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Redouane Loux made a kick off. Simon Bendtsen hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pierre-Loup Trouillot in the 62nd minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Denmark's Chris Nygaard in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Planète Marseille's goalie prevented a goal. In the 67th minute, Chris Nygaard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pierre-Olivier Couronne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chris Nygaard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Redouane Loux kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Lars Steen got his second yellow card in the match during the 83rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 84th minute, Lars Steen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bertram Svenningsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pierre-Olivier Couronne having to interfere. Keld Paulsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Redouane Loux in the 91st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Planète Marseille's Anatole Duchâtel got a free kick in the 94th minute. Denmark's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Planète Marseille had won, even though Denmark had held more of the ball.
