When Aggelos Karaflas fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored P.A.O.K. Patras F.C.'s protests and gave Aggelos Karaflas a yellow card for diving instead. In the 36th minute, Aggelos Karaflas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aggelos Karaflas was shown his second yellow card after 74 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to P.A.O.K. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonhard Maier during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Lazaros Serdaris managed to get in a good position for a shot. P.A.O.K. Patras F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Lazaros Serdaris was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabio Auer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Akis Stathakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th match minute, Austria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabio Schneider to maneuver through the defense.
