After a defensive mix-up in UD ZAS's zone, Porziano Marchitelli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Denis Dolmos came out of the goal and Porziano Marchitelli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Denis Dolmos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sigfrido Auletta in the 8th minute of play. In the 12th minute Porziano Marchitelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Dolmos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, UD ZAS's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Denis Dolmos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20thth minute of the game Carcelén Vicente who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Italy's Flavio Vittori was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zaccheo Andolina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Denis Dolmos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. A collision led to Italy getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Gomberto Picozzi hit a great ball. Denis Dolmos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zaccheo Andolina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. He Zheng Xing's late challenge caught a Italy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. He Zheng Xing helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to UD ZAS getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. He Zheng Xing hit a great ball. Denis Dolmos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 27th minute of the match. Flavio Vittori made an important save on a dangerous shot by Florin Urmasu in the 28th minute. A throw-in in the 31st minute of the game was made by Aral Tamkoç with He Zheng Xing as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 33 minutes into the match, UD ZAS's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Denis Dolmos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flavio Vittori made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Loco Martin sent off a good shot on target. 45 minutes into the game, Aral Tamkoç threw the ball into play from the sideline. Italy's Siricio Liotta quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. When Florin Urmasu fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UD ZAS's protests and gave Florin Urmasu a yellow card for diving instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 52nd minute of play forced UD ZAS's goalkeeper Denis Dolmos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 54 minutes, Sigfrido Auletta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Italy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sigfrido Auletta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With an all-out effort, Italy's Denis Dolmos threw himself towards the right post 56 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zaccheo Andolina, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Zaccheo Andolina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Italy's Sansone Vanella was substituted for Gianpaolo Mascari. Italy made a substitution. Adriano Curto replaced Zaccheo Andolina. Denis Dolmos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adriano Curto in the 94th minute of the match. UD ZAS were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Italy for a fine match.
