Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Meesters in the 7th minute of play forced Acuña's goalkeeper Gil Leme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lars Meesters kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carolo Claus in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnout Reekers saved Netherlands from getting behind. Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gustaaf Groeneveldt scored 0-2 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gil Leme, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gil Leme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Netherlands's Wim Wilmes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gil Leme narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gil Leme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Acuña was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bartolo Jerold didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gijsbert ter Kruimer to make the kick off. Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 57th minute of the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gil Leme was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 59th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gil Leme. Acuña's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 60th minute Carolo Claus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Long Liang Wei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gil Leme stood somewhat misplaced when Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free in front of goal and shot 0-4 to the left of him in the 65 minute. Acuña's Gil Leme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 68th minute of play. Gustaaf Groeneveldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Gil Leme made a huge save. Wim Wilmes struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Gil Leme didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. Moises Beltran kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. When Gijsbert ter Kruimer came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gijsbert ter Kruimer couldn't finish the play. Acuña's Gil Leme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 81st minute of play. Gustaaf Groeneveldt got in the 85th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Gil Leme handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. The supporters of Acuña booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Eikelkamp didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Gustaaf Groeneveldt came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustaaf Groeneveldt couldn't finish the play. Bas Tuitert hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Guaberto Pacifico recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 97th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gil Leme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over Netherlands could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Acuña throughout the match.
