Alfredo Transito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toni Mauzer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute, Toni Mauzer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfredo Transito was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Esteban Vermudo hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Milagro Sobre Césped's Alfredo Transito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toni Mauzer in the 22nd minute of play. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by Milagro Sobre Césped's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Toni Mauzer was slow to take the kick. During this time Croatia's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Dinko Stankovic managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 27 minutes in the game Teo Gudelj did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Toni Mauzer. 30 minutes into the game, Damir Pongrac was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Genaro Felipo's late challenge caught a Croatia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Genaro Felipo helped the player get up and apologised. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Toni Mauzer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Milagro Sobre Césped getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Esteban Vermudo hit a great ball. A hard shot 92 in the game by Eduard Kostelac from a close distance when the talented Alfredo Transito managed to make a qualified save. Milagro Sobre Césped's players were relieved. Alfredo Transito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damir Pongrac in the 93rd minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Silvije Santek in the 97th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Milagro Sobre Césped's Esteban Vermudo. A collision led to Milagro Sobre Césped getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Esteban Vermudo hit a great ball. The Milagro Sobre Césped fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Croatia were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
