Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Wisan Hangmui made the kick off which started today's match. After a defensive mix-up in Chiang Mai Football Club's zone, Bertram Svenningsen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paiboon Phatthanasing came out of the goal and Bertram Svenningsen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Chiang Mai Football Club booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Bendtsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Wisan Hangmui dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Keld Paulsen, 1-0. In the 15th minute Durongrit Siriboon suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Chiang Mai Football Club made a substitution. Noppawong Jiranusak replaced Durongrit Siriboon. In the 16th match minute, Denmark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chris Nygaard to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute, Simon Bendtsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Keld Paulsen made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Tawat Chaiprakhon sent off a good shot on target. Paiboon Phatthanasing showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chris Nygaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. If Mikkel Wulff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Eknarin Monvises fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chiang Mai Football Club's protests and gave Eknarin Monvises a yellow card for diving instead. Eknarin Monvises kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Chris Nygaard ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paiboon Phatthanasing was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Bertram Svenningsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kasidit Pantasen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keld Paulsen having to interfere. After 38 played minutes Chiang Mai Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Pinthusorn Kheangraeng. After some careless play in the Chiang Mai Football Club defense, Bertram Svenningsen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paiboon Phatthanasing. The Chiang Mai Football Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paiboon Phatthanasing should have stopped the shot.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Chris Nygaard made a kick off. With a little luck, Chiang Mai Football Club's Paiboon Phatthanasing got control of the ball when Bjarne Kirkegaard tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wisan Hangmui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keld Paulsen having to interfere. Eknarin Monvises hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. When Mikkel Wulff came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Denmark fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mikkel Wulff couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Denmark's zone, Tawat Chaiprakhon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Keld Paulsen came out of the goal and Tawat Chaiprakhon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Lars Steen kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Paiboon Phatthanasing. That made the score 1-3 in the 69 minute of play. Chiang Mai Football Club's Pinthusorn Kheangraeng got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 74 minutes into the game, Olav Graversen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Denmark's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chiang Mai Football Club the free kick. Paiboon Phatthanasing made an important save on a dangerous shot by Chris Nygaard in the 77th minute. After 82 minutes, Wisan Hangmui mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chiang Mai Football Club and the Denmark players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Chiang Mai Football Club's Wisan Hangmui got a free kick in the 82nd minute. After 84 played minutes Denmark got a freekick which was hit by Olav Graversen. The supporters of Denmark booed when Chiang Mai Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pinthusorn Kheangraeng didn't get a good kick on the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Chris Nygaard dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Paiboon Phatthanasing, 1-4. A sloppy throw-in by Benjaphon Yutisee in the 94th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Denmark's Lars Steen. With a little luck, Chiang Mai Football Club's Paiboon Phatthanasing got control of the ball when Chris Nygaard tried to sneak it across the goal line.
