In the 15th minute of the match PSG FC got a corner. Slovakia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Martin Idsøe ran over to the corner to take the kick. 22 minutes in the game Basile Berteloot did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Herbert Vignal. Metod Mlynar's late challenge caught a PSG FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Metod Mlynar helped the player get up and apologised. Metod Mlynar hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Henrich Slany was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Martin Idsøe showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 30 minute of play. The throw-in from Guy Grimault in the 38th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Slovakia's Kornel Jahoda. In the 43rdth minute of the game Martin Idsøe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Slovakia's Henrich Slany was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.
