The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Czech Republic's goalkeeper Vavrinec Holub, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Batuhan Öztürk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Vavrinec Holub tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Czech Republic getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Kvetoslav Janku hit a great ball. Batuhan Öztürk struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Vavrinec Holub didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rex Scania MFF. A hard shot 21 in the game by Batuhan Öztürk from a close distance when the talented Vavrinec Holub managed to make a qualified save. Czech Republic's players were relieved. Bogdan Stelea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Jilek in the 23rd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Czech Republic's goalkeeper Vavrinec Holub had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Batuhan Öztürk. In the 26th minute, Rex Scania MFF's Robert Abrahamsson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After a rather tough play, Rex Scania MFF's Batuhan Öztürk got a free kick in the 34th minute. Bogdan Stelea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Jilek, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. If Alan Rezek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Batuhan Öztürk got free with Vavrinec Holub in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Batuhan Öztürk stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Erik Jilek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Bogdan Stelea made a huge save. Denis Dostal kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After 56 played minutes Rex Scania MFF got a freekick which was hit by Batuhan Öztürk. Rex Scania MFF's Bogdan Stelea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denis Dostal in the 58th minute of play. With a little luck, Rex Scania MFF's Bogdan Stelea got control of the ball when Alan Rezek tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Batuhan Öztürk left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rex Scania MFF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Bogdan Stelea was a little too slow when Denis Dostal got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 65th minute. The score was now 2-1. Bohumir Kohout charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bohumir Kohout the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 72 played minutes Czech Republic got a freekick which was hit by Bohumir Kohout. Erik Jilek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bogdan Stelea having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Daniel Vitek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 86 minutes into the game, Östen Lund cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Vavrinec Holub was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Batuhan Öztürk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erik Jilek struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Bogdan Stelea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Batuhan Öztürk in the 95th minute of play.
