Casper Claes was out of position in the 11 minute of play, and Osvaldinho Lewandowski capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Osvaldinho Lewandowski really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. With 14 minutes on the clock, Laurens Vandamme commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 14 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Belgium! 20 minutes into the match, Belgium's goal looked a bit too open when Mikolaj Sochacki came free, but Casper Claes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yves Dervaux in the 25th minute of play forced Wariatów Kupa's goalkeeper Klaas Dejonghe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Casper Claes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Osvaldinho Lewandowski went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. 43 minutes into the match, Wariatów Kupa's goal looked a bit too open when Siebe Michiels came free, but Klaas Dejonghe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute Yves Dervaux shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Klaas Dejonghe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wariatów Kupa's Zbyszko Kempski managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Simon Sabbe in the 47 minute of the game. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yves Dervaux stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Wariatów Kupa's Klaas Dejonghe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yves Dervaux in the 53rd minute of play. A nice save by Klaas Dejonghe. In the 80thth minute of the game Osvaldinho Lewandowski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Belgium's Casper Claes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mikolaj Sochacki might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Casper Claes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mikolaj Sochacki ran back to his position shaking his head. Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zbyszko Kempski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Casper Claes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Osvaldinho Lewandowski went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Krzysztof Sidorowicz hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldinho Lewandowski in the 91st minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Belgium's goal looked a bit too open when Mikolaj Sochacki came free, but Casper Claes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Krzysztof Sidorowicz fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wariatów Kupa's protests and gave Krzysztof Sidorowicz a yellow card for diving instead. Krzysztof Sidorowicz hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Belgium's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Wariatów Kupa had won, even though Belgium had held more of the ball.
