Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Carlisle Fenwick started the match with the kick off. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlisle Fenwick in the 5th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Boroondara Milan's goal looked a bit too open when Antal Valentin came free, but Martyon Diehl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 20 minutes Boroondara Milan's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antal Valentin who took care of the corner kick. The supporters of Hungary booed when Boroondara Milan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andres Stevens didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antal Valentin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Martyon Diehl. Boroondara Milan's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 29th minute of play forced Boroondara Milan's goalkeeper Martyon Diehl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute Takacs Tibor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martyon Diehl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Martyon Diehl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Takacs Tibor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Boroondara Milan's zone, Major Barna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martyon Diehl came out of the goal and Major Barna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Balazs Lajos in the 37th minute of play forced Boroondara Milan's goalkeeper Martyon Diehl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlisle Fenwick got free with Fodor Daniel in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

In the 52nd minute, Takacs Tibor fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Martyon Diehl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 55th minute of play. After having played for 58 minutes, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antal Valentin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlisle Fenwick in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fodor Daniel saved Hungary from getting behind. Balazs Lajos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martyon Diehl having to interfere. The supporters of Boroondara Milan booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bakos Endre didn't get a good kick on the ball. Balazs Lajos was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 68th minute. Hungary's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 70 minutes into the game, Katona Janos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Martyon Diehl was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Boroondara Milan made a substitution. Rusty Reynolds replaced Paco Everett. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jason Sperling in the 78th minute of play. Carlisle Fenwick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodor Daniel having to interfere. Hungary's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
