Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gijsbert ter Kruimer kicked off to start the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Berenguer Tolosa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Netherlands from getting a goal against them. After taking down the ball on UNITED's corner Barto Crespo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Arnout Reekers quite easily take care of the ball. Lars Meesters fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Berenguer Tolosa having to interfere. In the 13th minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Berenguer Tolosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Netherlands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. If Mathijn Doctor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Berenguer Tolosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 25th minute, Lars Meesters got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 27 minutes into the game, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Berenguer Tolosa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. C.J. La Marca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. UNITED's C.J. La Marca got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 35th minute C.J. La Marca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 39 minutes, C.J. La Marca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UNITED's supporters crossed their fingers, but C.J. La Marca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gijsbert ter Kruimer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Berenguer Tolosa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and C.J. La Marca made a kick off. In the 52nd minute of the match, Lars Meesters tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Berenguer Tolosa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 56 played minutes UNITED got a freekick which was hit by Örjan Igelström. Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. UNITED's Berenguer Tolosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 61st minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer made a precise shot to the right of Berenguer Tolosa. UNITED's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. UNITED's Berenguer Tolosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 65th minute of play. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from C.J. La Marca in the 68th minute of play. In the 71st minute C.J. La Marca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 74 minutes, Wim Wilmes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wim Wilmes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from C.J. La Marca in the 77th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Berenguer Tolosa. That made the score 0-4 after 93 minutes of play. Bas Tuitert kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Netherlands's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
