Jan-Joost Werner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris Nygaard in the 10th minute of the match. Gavril Bucur could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Keld Paulsen made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Chris Nygaard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jan-Joost Werner was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Gavril Bucurs short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Keld Paulsen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Bertram Svenningsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Denmark booed when C Ａ R D I N Ａ L was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filip Tăcutu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Keld Paulsen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gavril Bucur in the 39th minute. After 45 minutes, Bertram Svenningsen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Denmark and the C Ａ R D I N Ａ L players grew even worse after the yellow card. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

If Bertram Svenningsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Peppe Mascara's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Keld Paulsen was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. For all the effort they put into the match, the Denmark players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for C Ａ R D I N Ａ L.
