In the 41st minute Nestoras Soulidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Netherlands from getting a goal against them. In the 46th minute, Pablo Boni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gijsbert ter Kruimer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Charis Raftopoulos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mathijn Doctor hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Konstantinos Tsevas in the 77th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nestoras Soulidis in the 78th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Nestoras Soulidis notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Netherlands's Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, Vakoufi Utd's Charis Raftopoulos got control of the ball when Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to sneak it across the goal line. Charis Raftopoulos was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gustaaf Groeneveldt showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-4 in the 81 minute of play. Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free with the goalkeeper in the 85th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Charis Raftopoulos could save by the left post. Charis Raftopoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 88th minute of play. Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lars Meesters hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The Vakoufi Utd supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Netherlands's performance. The match ended with a win for Netherlands.
