The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The throw-in from Eliseo Cutri in the 8th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Project Nemesis's Clark Kent. Gianpaolo Mascari made in the 9th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Siricio Liotta immediately put the ball in play. When Zaccheo Andolina came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Italy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zaccheo Andolina couldn't finish the play. Italy's attentive Eliseo Cutri managed to snatch the ball when Clark Kent made a throw-in in the 11th minute of the game. Peter Parker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 12th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Project Nemesis's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Peter Parker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Luciano Acosta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Flavio Vittori. Italy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luciano Acosta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Luciano Acosta kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Flavio Vittori. That made the score 2-0 in the 22 minute of play. Project Nemesis's attentive Clark Kent managed to snatch the ball when Eliseo Cutri made a throw-in in the 29th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 30th minute of play forced Project Nemesis's goalkeeper Peter Parker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Project Nemesis's Clark Kent got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 34th minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Parker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eliseo Cutri during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Italy getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Eliseo Cutri hit a great ball. Luciano Acosta might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Flavio Vittori. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luciano Acosta ran back to his position shaking his head. 45 minutes into the match, Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luciano Acosta. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zaccheo Andolina was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Sigfrido Auletta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Parker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 54 minutes into the match, Italy's Sigfrido Auletta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Peter Parker narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gomberto Picozzi made in the 58th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Gianpaolo Mascari. Project Nemesis's A.J. Beardsley was substituted for Marek Panasewicz. Zaccheo Andolina could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Peter Parker made a huge save. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Transito Betonowy, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 77th minute, Eliseo Cutri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 78 minutes into the match, Project Nemesis's Transito Betonowy sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Flavio Vittori narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Transito Betonowy in the 82nd minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Italy made a substitution. Guiscardo Davide replaced Sigfrido Auletta. Italy's Adriano Curto was substituted for Zaccheo Andolina. Italy's Eliseo Cutri managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Clark Kent in the 86 minute of the game. Through an outstanding action, after 88 minutes, Peter Parker successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Izydor Konopka kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. In the 91st minute of the game Eliseo Cutri made a throw-in which Sansone Vanella played forward. In the 92nd minute, Adriano Curto made a precise shot to the right of Peter Parker. Project Nemesis's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Adriano Curto put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of Peter Parker. When the referee blew the final whistle, Project Nemesis could leave the field as winners, despite Italy having more of the ball for most of the match.
