Chipa y Tereré's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaroslav Nechvátal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Cabral in the 6th minute of play. After 7 minutes Hungary's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bernardo Cabral who took care of the corner kick. In the 8th minute of the match Club A. Chipa y Tereré got a corner. Hungary's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bernardo Cabral ran over to the corner to take the kick. Hungary's Fodor Daniel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Hungary from getting a goal against them. When Club A. Chipa y Tereré's Jaroslav Nechvátal in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Chipa y Tereré's goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but Xie Chao Cheng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Major Barna made a great header on Hungary's corner, it was just that Club A. Chipa y Tereré's Xie Chao Cheng managed to reach the ball for a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antal Valentin in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. In the 41st minute, Hegedus Henrik made a precise shot to the right of Xie Chao Cheng. Club A. Chipa y Tereré's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Club A. Chipa y Tereré's Xie Chao Cheng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 45th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Antal Valentin was the one to do the kick off. Xie Chao Cheng made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Major Barna sent off a good shot on target. 58 minutes into the game, Jaroslav Nechvátal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Fodor Daniel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Club A. Chipa y Tereré's Xie Chao Cheng proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Club A. Chipa y Tereré from getting a goal against them. Bakos Endre hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Epifanio Acosta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antal Valentin might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Xie Chao Cheng. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Antal Valentin ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Xie Chao Cheng in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gregorio Elixio during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Club A. Chipa y Tereré's Gregorio Elixio got a free kick in the 75th minute. Reynaldo Inge hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. When Epifanio Acosta came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Club A. Chipa y Tereré fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Epifanio Acosta couldn't finish the play. In the 93rdth minute of the game Epifanio Acosta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hungary's Fodor Daniel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Takacs Tibor hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, Club A. Chipa y Tereré could leave the field as winners, despite Hungary having more of the ball for most of the match.
