The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Natalio Pacorro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. In the 7th minute, Melquiades Garaona got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 12th minute of play forced EL RUSSO FC's goalkeeper Natalio Pacorro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Natalio Pacorro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Valentin in the 14th minute of the match. Hungary were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after EL RUSSO FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Antal Valentin took the corner. The corner ended in Antal Valentin almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but EL RUSSO FC's Natalio Pacorro did a great save. 20 minutes into the match, EL RUSSO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but Natalio Pacorro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Major Barna came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Major Barna couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Melquiades Garaona in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fodor Daniel saved Hungary from getting behind. A nice corner shot did that Lionel 柯景亦 got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fodor Daniel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Melquiades Garaona came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the EL RUSSO FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Melquiades Garaona couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Melquiades Garaona made the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute Lionel 柯景亦 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Natalio Pacorro made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Antal Valentin sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of EL RUSSO FC booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vörös Henrik didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aquilino Maties blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fodor Daniel having to make a save. 58 minutes into the match, Boruc Jaraczeski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fodor Daniel. Hungary's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Boruc Jaraczeski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 63rd minute Olgierd Prusek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 66 in the game by Major Barna from a close distance when the talented Natalio Pacorro managed to make a qualified save. EL RUSSO FC's players were relieved. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melquiades Garaona in the 67th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Gaztea Valensuela notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Hungary's Fodor Daniel. Fodor Daniel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. EL RUSSO FC's Max Ferro was substituted for Boruc Jaraczeski. Olgierd Prusek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
