The audience was convinced that Chris Nygaard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tolek Drab was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Tolek Drab stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chris Nygaard's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. 28 minutes into the game, Juliusz Jaszcz threw the ball into play from the sideline. Denmark's Bertram Svenningsen quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Olav Graversen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Tolek Drab tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guadalupe Seracoyz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Keld Paulsen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Chłyt Materkindody's goal looked a bit too open when Chris Nygaard came free, but Tolek Drab reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Chris Nygaard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tolek Drab was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Zdzislaw Pierz was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 44 minutes into the match. Tolek Drab showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chris Nygaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The Chłyt Materkindody players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Denmark were winning 0-2.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bogdan Miarka during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Denmark booed when Chłyt Materkindody was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bogdan Miarka didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chris Nygaard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Tolek Drab made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chris Nygaard got free with Tolek Drab in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the final whistle sounded Denmark left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Chłyt Materkindody.
