But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Omar Toledo couldn't finish the play. The corner led to Spain's Vicente Merino getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Teodelina FC's Franko Armani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adria Bielsa in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Savinov in the 25th minute of play forced Spain's goalkeeper Gabriel Ascaso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gabriel Ascaso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Savinov in the 27th minute of play. In the 29thth minute of the game Adria Bielsa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Teodelina FC's Franko Armani was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adria Bielsa in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Franko Armani saved Teodelina FC from getting behind. After 34 played minutes Spain got a freekick which was hit by Enrique Rabellino. Gabriel Ascaso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Buinton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Omar Toledo to make the kick off. Gabriel Ascaso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Siro Porfiro in the 53rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergio Ruiz in the 83rd minute of play forced Teodelina FC's goalkeeper Franko Armani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Siro Porfiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Ascaso having to interfere. In the 91stth minute of the game Carles Cherro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Teodelina FC's Franko Armani was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 95th minute Sergio Ruiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franko Armani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 96th minute, Lucas Erruz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Spain played a much better game than Teodelina FC and deserved their victory. The Teodelina FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
