Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Santo Santiago started the match with the kick off. Santo Santiago's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Arnout Reekers firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 6th minute Lars Meesters shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Primitivo Domiku saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 11th minute of play forced Sinsacote AFC's goalkeeper Primitivo Domiku to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnout Reekers was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Baldomiro Weather showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. In the 21st minute, Joel Arce ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arnout Reekers was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. When Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sinsacote AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Santo Santiago's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. In the 30th match minute, Sinsacote AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnoldo Cambiasso to maneuver through the defense. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Primitivo Domiku. Primitivo Domiku dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Primitivo Domiku showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Gustaaf Groeneveldt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Sinsacote AFC booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Egbert Nijveldt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnout Reekers came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Sinsacote AFC's Santo Santiago. But to his dismay, Santo Santiago quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. After having played for 45 minutes, Gijsbert ter Kruimer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gijsbert ter Kruimer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The wind increased when Gijsbert ter Kruimer made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Sinsacote AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zakariás Radics to maneuver through the defense. 52 minutes into the match, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After some careless play in the Netherlands defense, Baldomero Lehen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnout Reekers. The Netherlands fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnout Reekers should have stopped the shot. Primitivo Domiku made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 61st minute. In the 64th minute Sinsacote AFC were awarded a corner. Baldomiro Weather went to the cornerflag to take it. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baldomero Lehen in the 66th minute of the match. In the 67th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Primitivo Domiku saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baldomero Lehen in the 68th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baldomero Lehen in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnout Reekers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wim Wilmes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Primitivo Domiku tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Netherlands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-3. With an all-out effort, Netherlands's Primitivo Domiku threw himself towards the right post 78 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lars Meesters, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santo Santiago in the 84th minute of play. David Eikelkamp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sinsacote AFC's Leonides Playo was substituted for Vicente Hernandez. Primitivo Domiku didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wim Wilmes went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-4 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Gijsbert ter Kruimer took a quick shot and it went in 4-5 without a chance for Primitivo Domiku to make any attempt to save it. Netherlands played a much better game than Sinsacote AFC and deserved their victory. The Sinsacote AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
