In the 19thth minute of the game Nesho Metev who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Nesho Metev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nesho Metev in the 24th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 39 minutes into the game, FC TORPEDO's Lilko Nikolchov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After a rather tough play, Germany's Malte Schiele got a free kick in the 43rd minute. If Lilko Nikolchov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 47 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Willy Stieler. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Linus Schwerner kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Sachs got free with Aron Cocea in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nesho Metev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lilko Nikolchov in the 66th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Nesho Metev made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lilko Nikolchov in the 85th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albin Holweck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Germany's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
