Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sreten Popovic started the match with the kick off. Jovan Borisov charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jovan Borisov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Pedro Lourenço. 10 minutes into the game, Ubaldo Montinho threw the ball into play from the sideline. Serbia's Momir Gisic quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. A throw-in in the 14th minute of the game was made by Manuel Novais with Alda Correia as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Sreten Popovic struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Custódio Preto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Serbia. Custódio Preto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sreten Popovic, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. João Carlos Gonçalves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Zvezdan Nedeljkovic made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Recreativo FC®'s zone, Borjan Golubovic stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Custódio Preto came out of the goal and Borjan Golubovic tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Sreten Popovic had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pôncio Bouça, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the game, Alda Correia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 31st match minute, Serbia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cvijetin Nanusevski to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute, Sreten Popovic hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40th minute, Alda Correia reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Zvezdan Nedeljkovic. The goal made the score 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The crowd rose to their feet as Serbia's Sreten Popovic slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Custódio Preto. That made the score 2-2 after 55 minutes of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sreten Popovic in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Custódio Preto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The throw-in from Rogério Da Costa in the 62nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Serbia's Cvijetin Nanusevski. In the 64th minute Alda Correia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zvezdan Nedeljkovic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Borjan Golubovic managed to get in a good position for a shot. Serbia's supporters rose to their feet, but Borjan Golubovic was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Custódio Preto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A sloppy throw-in by Manuel Novais in the 70th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Serbia's Borjan Golubovic. After having played for 75 minutes, Borjan Golubovic managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Serbia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Borjan Golubovic was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Custódio Preto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sreten Popovic, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Serbia getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Jovan Borisov hit a great ball. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Recreativo FC®'s João Carlos Gonçalves. But to his dismay, João Carlos Gonçalves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Miljan Gavrilovic sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. João Carlos Gonçalves struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Recreativo FC®. After 87 played minutes Serbia got a freekick which was hit by Miljan Gavrilovic. After a defensive mix-up in Recreativo FC®'s zone, Borjan Golubovic stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Custódio Preto came out of the goal and Borjan Golubovic tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 95th match minute, Recreativo FC® was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogério Da Costa to maneuver through the defense. Serbia's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Recreativo FC® had won, even though Serbia had held more of the ball.
