The GRÊMIO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 魏宽银 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. GRÊMIO's Gilberto Tande pulled a muscle in his leg after 16 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Janik Vogt's late challenge caught a GRÊMIO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Janik Vogt helped the player get up and apologised. After 16 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Janik Vogt. After a rather tough play, Germany's Janik Vogt got a free kick in the 18th minute. Tommy Kahn stood somewhat misplaced when 魏宽银 came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 19 minute. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, 魏宽银 put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Tommy Kahn. When 齐庭默 fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GRÊMIO's protests and gave 齐庭默 a yellow card for diving instead. 齐庭默 kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the game, Germany's Frank Sachs nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Frank Tepedino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. In the 30th minute, Janik Vogt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dimitris Saravakos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. 37 minutes into the game, GRÊMIO's 魏宽银 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. In the 41st match minute, GRÊMIO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anderson Ceresso to maneuver through the defense. Tommy Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by 魏宽银 in the 45th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 魏宽银 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The excitement rose when GRÊMIO's 齐庭默 after 55 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Germany's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 5-1. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 魏宽银, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 62nd minute, Anderson Ceresso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bryant Tout during the 64th minute. After a defensive mix-up in GRÊMIO's zone, Frank Sachs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frank Tepedino came out of the goal and Frank Sachs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. GRÊMIO's Frank Tepedino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albin Holweck in the 79th minute of play. After 83 minutes, 魏宽银 made it 6-1 with a short kick to the right side. Germany's Tommy Kahn tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Chris Mergenthaler kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Germany defense, 魏宽银 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot.
