A sloppy throw-in by Brook Palmington in the 19th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Denmark's Theis Winther. In the 21st minute Chris Nygaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Avellaneda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amancio Brion received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Keld Paulsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Inter de Monte Grande fc's goalkeeper Leon Avellaneda, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The throw-in from Brook Palmington in the 39th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Denmark's Theis Winther. Denmark's Keld Paulsen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Denmark from getting a goal against them. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Chris Nygaard to strike the kick off in the second half. If Elpidio Malvin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Leon Avellaneda managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when Denmark's Chris Nygaard fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A throw-in in the 63rd minute of the game was made by Benedicto Lastur with Arnulfo Lamberto as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 68 minutes into the game, Kenn Skou was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Denmark's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Inter de Monte Grande fc the free kick. Inter de Monte Grande fc's Arnulfo Lamberto got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Inter de Monte Grande fc's Gregorio Bidun got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Leon Avellaneda was a little too slow when Chris Nygaard got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 2-1. In the 77th minute Chris Nygaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Avellaneda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Inter de Monte Grande fc made a substitution. Mariano Gagriel replaced Paulino Onofre. Lars Steen hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Keld Paulsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elpidio Malvin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
