Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Abelardo Loreto started the match with the kick off. Tobias Chepe made in the 5th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Denmark's Lars Steen. 5 minutes into the game, Denmark's Chris Nygaard nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnoldo Ferrando made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. With a little luck, Denmark's Keld Paulsen got control of the ball when Generoso Iban tried to sneak it across the goal line. Keld Paulsen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Generoso Iban in the 11th minute. Denmark's Chris Nygaard got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 16th minute, Lars Steen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nicasio Su sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Keld Paulsen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Generoso Iban in the 23rd minute. When Denmark's Bertram Svenningsen in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The supporters of Denmark booed when Boca Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eloy Galindo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41st minute of the match Chris Nygaard shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arnoldo Ferrando showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 42 minutes Boca Juniors's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Chris Nygaard who took care of the corner kick. Abelardo Loreto's late challenge caught a Denmark's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abelardo Loreto helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Denmark booed when Boca Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abelardo Loreto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baldomero Rocendo got a throw-in 46 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Tobias Chepe. Chris Nygaard's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnoldo Ferrando read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Chris Nygaard was the one to do the kick off. Chris Nygaard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 58 minutes into the match, Nicasio Su notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Denmark's Keld Paulsen. Keld Paulsen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chris Nygaard in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnoldo Ferrando prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 64th minute, Bertram Svenningsen made a precise shot to the right of Arnoldo Ferrando. Boca Juniors's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. 67 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Chris Nygaard came free, but Arnoldo Ferrando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th match minute, Denmark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bjarne Kirkegaard to maneuver through the defense. Chris Nygaard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Arnoldo Ferrando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 86 minutes in the game Baldomero Rocendo did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Tobias Chepe. After having played for 87 minutes, Chris Nygaard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Denmark's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chris Nygaard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Chris Nygaard came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Denmark fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chris Nygaard couldn't finish the play. Denmark played a much better game than Boca Juniors and deserved their victory. The Boca Juniors players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
