In the 8thth minute of the game Kris Wisanggeni who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Netherlands's Arnout Reekers was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Arnout Reekers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kris Wisanggeni's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kris Wisanggeni in the 10th minute of the match. Jendry Sambuaga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Arnout Reekers made a huge save. When Budi Sudarno fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Greencard's protests and gave Budi Sudarno a yellow card for diving instead. In the 26th match minute, Greencard was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Budi Sudarno to maneuver through the defense. Greencard's Mamat Wirayudha was substituted for Malin Kundang. Greencard's Suryo Nurpijal was substituted for Konstantin Aprelev. If Hadi Argadinata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th minute of the match, Lars Meesters tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nanang Wardhana saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 59 minutes into the match, Greencard's goalkeeper Nanang Wardhana had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. In the 85th minute Hadi Argadinata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Netherlands had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
