After having played for 6 minutes, Leonhard Maier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Austria's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonhard Maier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 11th minute Fabio Schneider shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blai Vadillos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabio Auer made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Fidel Garrido sent off a good shot on target. A throw-in in the 19th minute of the game was made by Arsenio De la Rosa with Jacobo Blazquez as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Christian Wallner was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 21 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 21st minute of the game. One of Austria:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Racing Rocafort C.F.:s goal. If Fabio Schneider had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Racing Rocafort C.F. booed when Austria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marvin Harrer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marvin Harrer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Blai Vadillos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Fabio Schneider had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute, Jonas Nalder got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Fabio Schneider had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonas Nalder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jonas Nalder to make the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Racing Rocafort C.F. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernan Roman to maneuver through the defense. If Fabio Schneider had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Racing Rocafort C.F.'s Blai Vadillos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Racing Rocafort C.F. from getting a goal against them. Arsenio De la Rosa made in the 66th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Jacobo Blazquez. In the 67th minute Jonas Nalder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blai Vadillos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Racing Rocafort C.F. fans' excitement grew in the 69th match minute when Racing Rocafort C.F.'s Oro Cameno looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Oro Cameno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oro Cameno in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabio Auer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Racing Rocafort C.F. fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when Racing Rocafort C.F.'s Oro Cameno looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Fabio Auer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oro Cameno in the 89th minute of the match. Anastasio Jaen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Racing Rocafort C.F. fans cheered their team off the field, for while Austria had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
